We eliminate obesity in children using a simple three-pronged approach.
1. Raise money to support childhood obesity elimination.
2. Distribute money to successful organizations that share our vision and our commitment of 100% accountability and information sharing.
3. Empower youth with programs and incentives to solve their own problem.
What We Do Not Do
- We do not pay for quick fix or short term solutions like bariatric surgery or any other procedures that do not provide the fundamental tools for long term success.
- We do not invest in programs that will not meet extensive accountability requirements and provide transparency to donors.
- We do not invest in programs that do not provide the tools for continuous healthy living.
If you have a concrete plan or innovative idea to eliminate obesity then we want to help you.
Our grants have two requirements:
- Recipients are required to attend an annual meeting to share their ideas and programs with others.
- Recipients must show how they are spending their grants towards eliminating obesity.
Aside from those requirements, and they are mandatory, if you have an idea or a proven program that falls outside these programs, let us know.
Organizational Grants
These are grants dedicated to community groups.
Educational and Community Grants
These grants are provided to educational and community institutions that implement programs reducing obesity in children through physical fitness and/or educational programs or both.
Individual Grants
Fitness Ambassador Program- This is a high level position for students ages 14 and up who are willing to model and influence positive behaviors incorporating fitness, exercise and healthy eating. We are empowering youth to be a solution to their problem.
Junior Ambassadors
This complements the Fitness Ambassador and focuses on children ages 10-13.
Fit For College Grants
This grant applies to the Fitness Ambassadors and Junior Fitness Ambassadors. In this unique program the grants are placed into a tuition savings account for the students to assist with higher education.
How Do We Measure Success?
We use the obesity measures provided by Centers for Disease Control to ensure integrity and gauge success. We don’t play games or cook our stats to look good. Further, our grant recipients are required to provide results of their endeavors. We will measure and publish those results.
We are non-partisan, and believe in 100% accountability and transparency. Our success is the country’s success.
